Show Volume II, Issue XVIII THE OGDEN VALLEY NEWS September 15, 2000 Sport News Local Soccer Teams Represent Valley Well at County Fair By Shanna Francis Ogden Valley News Staff Out of the six local teams that participated in the Weber County Fair Soccer Tournament this year, four of them placed. The under age 16 boys team and the under age 12 girls team both brought home a first place win, with the boys playing undefeated in the three day, five game, tournament. Members of the undefeated Valley team included Kyle Anderson, Jacob Burton, Skylar Boyington, Clint Child, Clark Dove, Brady Fuller, Ben Garrison, Jon Garrison, A.J. Hubbard, Josh Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Robert Knowles, Riley Piccolo, Steven Shepherd, and Jeff Warner. The team was coached by Annette Piccolo of Eden. The under age 10 boys team placed 3rd out of 16 teams they competed against in their category. The under age 12 boys team, coached by Sharon Vause of Eden, placed 2nd. Members of Snowcrest’s Skyhawks 2000 Girls Softball Team Named The following girls have been selected to represent Snowcrest on the 2000 season softball team.
