Show rc May 21, 1999 North Summii Semiieir Cddsoitqs BY LOUISE WALLACE Wb have had kind of a busy week with President Shirley Phelps conducting the meetings and taking care of all the hidden details that must be done in order for us to comedo the center and just relax. She left George home to take care of his bad cold. Now, I ask you, is there such a thing as a good cold? We had good meals. Denise Pace cooked and served us on Wednesday and TKna Mitchell took care of that chore on Friday. Thanks ladies. We were not too happy to hear that InRita wasnt feeling very chipper, in fact, she wu feeling downright lousy. She is getting better because she is a bit frustrated at not having enough energy to even pick up the knitting needles. Moat of us know how that is and we also know that we have to do as the doctor tells us and take one day.at a time. We can breath a sigh of relief because Leslee and McKenna Sargent, working as a mother and daughter team have accepted the position of jani tores. Every litter bit hurts and has to be picked up by someone and I know from doing the cleaning myself that it will be greatly appreciated if we all continue to dean up u after ourselves as much possible. We welcome Clara Ellen Shafer back. She is especially welcome in the quilting section cause they can always use more nifty stitchers. Gan Ellen wont join the band but she does sing and hum' along while she stitches practice as they did on Wednesday. Friday, thanks to the thoughtfulness of Cindy we McGechee, enjoyed sharing George Perkins birthday cake. I wont tell you how old he is now but it took three puffs for him to Mow out all those candles. Wow Laura Roberts is in a rehab center now but will be home shortly. She will be having therapy for a while but that shouldn't atop her from coming to seniors. and-the- Kamu Reakh Center Coehriib Health Ckater 82 North SO East 158 Wm 200 South Kamaa,UT Coalville, UT WAIN ALLEN, M.D. JEANETTE VERNON, RN PA--C FNP MELINDA ROALSTAD, MS PA-Complete Family Medical and Emergency Care SALLY SHENK-FUEG- I, C Coalville Honrs: Moodsy Friday 8 JO am pm Saturday 8 JO am 11-0- noon Kamas Hours: Monday Friday 9:00 am 5:00 pm 3.-0- 0 Laurine Stokea and Marjorie Smith have both had recent eye surgery. Maijorie is scheduled to have the other eye operated on May 18. That is the same day Woodrow Nielson will have one of his done. He will have the other one taken care of two weeks later. Maijorie says the anxiety of having to have it done wu worse than the procedure and her sight is greatly improved. Now, I uy, wouldn't, it be great if everyone can have that kind of success? Ws have been wondering why that nice Thelma Ctandall haul been to Seniors only to learn that she hu been ill and hu taken advantage of the tender loving care offered (probably forced) by her daughter, Pauline. Spring is here or at least the sun is shining and that should make the nasty old bugs go into hibernation and we can all feel be net, Did yon know that Wills Deaiden hu the prettiest, handsomest and most intelligent grandchildren ever? SheS also going to be a first time this summer. We have been missing Willa because she hu been with her family in McCall, Idaho to give them some good grandmotherly love and advice. Tb top the week off we went to see the Beehive Statesmen Barber Shop Quartet on Saturday. We left the center at 3 p.m. and didn't get home until way after curfew, at midnight. The transportation wu furnished by Summit County and we thank them for that. We had 27 from North Summit, about the same from South Summit and 2 from Park Gty. We had a fine buffet dinner at Chuck-O- Rama before the show. All the details for this outing wu taken care of by Gordon Tiylorooce again. The show wu really great and one of the Saturday CLOSED hour number: 433 336 4403 24 Coalville number hour 24 Kamas performers, Paul Barlow is Loraine Rock's nephew. 1 must confess, 1 never did figure out which one he wu though but the show wu great. It's always nice to know when youre doing something right, I have truly appreciated your kind and sincere comments.
