All students receive hands-o- n experience using two of the most widely used CAD programs. Microstation and AutoCAD. Flexible Machine Manufacturing: Nick Betts and Trevcr Elder running a CNC machine. Students in Machine Manufacturing will work with CADCAM (Computer Aided Drafting, Computer Aided Manufacturing) to simulate machine operations and leam entry level machinist skills first on manual lathes and then move on to CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machines. Last years students from this program competed in National VICA competition and received first place. Automotive Technology: This program will prepare students to become nationASE certified in many automotive areas such as brakes; electrical systems; engine perforally mance; engine repair; manual drive train and axles; suspension and steering. Students at all levels of automotive experience are encouraged to enroll for this program. Bull Trai Met Ass Medical Assistant: Luci Flores and Michele Eldredge, students in the medical assisting program, will leam the knowledge and skills to perform routine clinical and administrative duties m the office of a primary care physician or in the other medical settings such as clinics, neighborhood health centers, laboratories or hospitals. |
