Several weeks ago they were in Las Vegas, Nevada for the baptism of a grandson Thomas Sullivan, son of Kirk and Tammy Sullivan. They recently attended the marriage The of two first wedding granddaughters. was performed at the Manu Temple with the reception being held in Richfield, Utah. The bride, Tana Chappcl, granddaughter of the Sullivans was married to Travis Black. Tana is the daughter of Susan and LaRcll Chappcl of Richfield. The second wedding was held at the Salt Lake Temple with the reception being held in Vernal, Utah. Jaimie Granddaughter Sullivan became the bride of Aaron Haley. Jaimie is the daughter of Paul and Shirla Sullivan. On Friday the 13, the Saturday Birthday Club celebrated the of Areva September birthday Huish. Leah Haslem hosted the party at the Falcon Ledge Lodge for members and guest Gail Allred. After dinner was served, bridge was played with prizes going to Barbara Thorne; Fern Jenson and Gail Allied. Before the party was over, Areva was presented with a gift from the ladies. A former Basinite Louise Wright has recently moved back to Roosevelt after living in Salt Lake City for 4 years, and purchased a home on West Lagoon Street Her sisters Phyllis from Arizona and LaRae and Helen from Salt Lake City had been visiting Roosevelt for a week. Louise and sister LaRue then took Phyllis back to her home in Arizona. After touring Arizona, they went on to San Diego to visit Louise's son Gaylon Wright for about a week. After her visit to Roosevelt Louises sister LaRae decided to move to Roosevelt and moved her over the September 21 weekend. Now that Louise Wright is bade in Roosevelt she will have more time to spend with daughters Freda (Craig) Todd, Rosalee (Brad) Roberts; Laura (Glenn) Murphy and Debbie (Drew) Wilkerson and their families. Iris Court 47, Ladies Oriental Shrine of NA under the direction of High Priestess Lady Aggie Auer made their official visit to the Dinah Duds Unit on Saturday, SepL 14. Luncheon was served to the Ladies by the Dinah Duds at the" home" of "Directress Lady Bozarth. The Court convened at 2 p.m. in the lodge hall of Basin 20. Following the meeting the ladies returned to the Bozarth home for an evening barbecue. Music was provided by the Ross' and friends for entertainment and dancing. Angela and Carolyn Breakfield flew to Phoenix Arizona where they spent three days visiting with their sister Tammy and Scott Taylor. Venla Gee was brought home on Friday September 6, by her sister Reha and Neil Carter of Cedar City. Venla left on the 18 of August and went to Henderson Nevada, to be with her neice Veloyce Roundy. Her husband Paul passed away or a lingering illness. Paul had several strokes and was bed fast for the biggest part of two years. He was 60 years old and Venlas neice Veloyce has had lupis for several years. Venla spent three weeks with Veloyce and then went to Cedar Gty where she spent a week with her sister Reha and Neil Carter. On Sunday September 1, they celebrated Neils 80th there were birthday. Monday several of them that went up to Brian Head and spent the night. Venlas nephew from Las Vegas and two other Drs own a cabin. Neva Rasmussen is out of the hospital and slaying with her sister Beulah Bats ui Salt Lake. Her surgery was real good. Emmett and Dorothy Evans had her Uhcle Orrin and Sylria Golightley of Bountiful stop tty to visit with them one day last week. Lois Stansfield is back home after having surgery on her back in the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. She is doing pretty good with braces and all Lena Thomas has had company here visiting with her for a few day's. They are Mr. and Mrs. John Clere of Hawaii. The Harold Gees was visiting over to the .Cedar Crest Care Cento on Friday, September 6. It was Zella Grant Lees 86th birthday. As usual we look ho vace with an orched flower and a couple of cards. Glen and Ruth Mecham have been in Duchesne for a few days. Glens birthday was this last week. They were late for his birthday fell a couple of because 5-t- ii weeks ago and broke some ribs, so she is pretty much tied up and Glens mother Gladys Mecham is also celebrating her 96 birthday. George and Jeanette Swasey are grandparents again. Their daughter Judy and Robert HamUcm had a baity girl bom to them on August 27. They live up in Cedarview. Mona Dean McGinnis is back home again after her husband was laid to rest in Salt Lake, a week ago. Esther Johnson Gee, wife of Max Gee has been in the Doxy Hatch Care Center for on year and two months. She passed away on lay evening September 9. She was 76 years old. She and Max were married on October 4, 1937 in the Sab Lake Temple. Esther is survived by husband Max of Mundy, a daughter Karen and Scott Harman of Pleasant Grove, Five grandchildren, one sister Godrun Wathen of Lchi, One brother, Otto Johnson and Hazel of Murray. Her funeral was held on September 12 at 11 a.m. in the Memorial Estate Mortuary. The Internment was in the Mumy Gty Cemetary. The Harold Gee's was out and spent the night with Max in Murray, Venla Gee rode out with LaMare and Oreene Wilson of RooseveU and another sister Henery Wilson of Layton came with a neice Jean Stockhouse of Layton. Esther had a wonderful funeral Phyllis Day of Duchesne was in Salt Lake visiting with her sister Dorotha Mortin for a couple of day's. Phillis also kept a Dr. apt while she was in Salt Lake. The Bill and Vava Tollefsons Bruce and Darlene Tollcfson and son Dustin also Dean and pam Peterson all met on Saturday September 14 and attended the Open house at the Timpanogas Temple. They all met at die home of Lori mild Wyott Cook to celebrate Loris Birthday. Nelda Murphy's brother Newell M. Beal passed away on September 8, in Salt Lake. He was 81 years old. His funeral was held in American Fork on September 13. Burial in the American Fork Cemetary. Chris and Beth Gray who have just returned from their Orlando, Florida mission, gave their mission report last Sunday, September 13, at the Whiterocks Branch. Their sots, Ralph and Jane, and family, and Mike and Maxine and family, were also present at the church. The Grays visited with Leah and . Vert Haslem on the 10th; the Grays are at present living in Pleasant Grove. Two of Frank Anowchis grandsons came out for their first Wayne Reed, antelope hunt accompanied by Frank, went hunting on the 12th, and were rewarded with a nice buck antelope. Corey Anowchis, son of Johnny and Sharon Anowchis, of Springville, went hunting on the 13 with his father, and also picked up a buck antelope. The Johnny Anowchis family spent the weekend with Frank and Glenda, Crystal Wyasket, 3, accompanied Johnny Anowchis and family for the weekend visit. Crystal is the daughter of Mary and Elston Wyasket of Orem. Mae Oberhansly competed in the Club Roosevelt Ladies Championship tournament, and won 3rd net. Sherry Kay Rasmussen came on Friday, Sept. 6 from Salt Lake and spent 5 days with her family. Arvin and Maurine Bellon drove to Bountiful to attend Arvin 's mother's 96th birthday party. They also had a family reunion in Park Gty, with Arvins 3 brothers and 4 sisters and their families present. Family members came from Texas, daughter of Evanston, met the family on the Wasatch front, and spent the weekend with them. Also present were Arvin and Mauri ne Bellon, Greg and Mariena Bel Ion and daughters, Klarysa and Olivia of Bountiful, and Gary Bellon o Salt Lake City. Scott and Jodi Wyatt from Provo and baby Zacharey spent the weekend with his grandparents Richard and Rose Olsen. Parley and Earlene Smart traveled to Smith field Friday September 13, to visit with son James and family. While there, they got to see a daughter Jacqin Smart, then relumed home Sunday September IS. Rawlin Spencer of Magna and his brother Sheldon of K earns spent the weekend with their mother Zola Spencer to celebrate her 91st birthday and help her clean house. On Sunday evening and Monday September 16, a son Orlo and Jenet Spencer spent time with her and a son Glenn and on All carpets shampooed.
