Sorensen will be retiring from First Security Bank after 18 years of service. She went to work for First Security Bank at Altamont as a part time teller in 1977, and in 1978 worked full time. She has worked as a loan secretary and also managed the Altamont Branch for several years. In 1995 was transferred to the Roosevelt office and worked as a personal service representative. Karen says, "Banking has been a part of my life for so many years that I will really miss the customers. I have made many friends over the years with both customers and employees." Karen will now spend her time with her family and husband on their ranch. She has four children and nine grandchildren.
