I have sponsored a resolution requesting that President Reagan and the Windfall Congress Profits Tax. The reasons I am doing WHY ARE THOUSANDS OF DIETERS LAUGHING? follow'; The Windfall Profits Tax is adding to the price you pay for fuel and you, as a taxpayer, have no way of measuring how much that amount is. 2. The tax in Utah is taking from 65 to 90 percent of the de regulated price of crude oil That is money you may have thought would be plowed back" into more production. The tax in many cases is confiscatory in nature. 3. The tax has a harsh impact on the small royally owner. This is contrary to what I think Congress intended, and what most people think the tax docs. The tax in most people's opinions was meant to take away from the large oil companies. 4. According to last year's figures about $200,000,000 left Utah because that of this tax. With figure could be double or more this year. Much of that taken would be put to better use if left here to produce economic incentive rather than being sent to Washington, D.C. to further be asking for donathe Roosevelt area. It's uormal to grieve The grief we feel after losing something precious to us, whether a body part, a loved one. a job, often proceeds through stages of emotion. First is often denial or numbness. It may be followed by bargaining - the feeling that things would have been different if only actions had been different. Anger and depression are frequent feelings.
