Evans' position is essentially that of an Assistant Administrator, while Bradbury is the Director of Nursing. Both have had a chance to settle into their respective positions and are now gearing up for the growth which the hospital is certain to experience in the decade of the 80's. Susan Bradbury was appointed as of Nursing early last Director summer. Because of course committments at Brigham Young University over the summer, she was farced to commute to Roosevelt and to work at the hospital on the weekends. She is thankful to finally be able to concentrate on her demanding Job full time. A triad of sorts, Evans and Bradbury have helped ' to share administrative duties formerly reserved only to Norman Dye. There has always been a Director of Nursing, but Bradbury claims her job has been made much easier, thanks to Evans. Evans says that he has no problem working with the nursing staff. Dye is thankful to be able to spend more of his time to improve the hospital eaah flow. Although she wishes she coula be on the floor more, Bradbury sees her role as a morale builder. I try to help the nurses take pride in their work by attempting to decrease the frustrations of the job. Some of that frustration has been alleviated by the hiring of Chad Evans. Chad has sure made my job easier, says Bradbury. Another former resident, Chad Evans grew up in the Uintah Basin, spending 19 years hen. Evans has past experience with hospital administration, most recently with Grande Ronde hospital LeGrande, Oregon. There he was in charge of support services for an institution which housed 47 doctors and 850 employees. Not since September of 1974 has 80 exceeded million production pounds. Ole Bosaey averaged 1,100 pounds during September, 70 pounds more than a year earlier. Production of manufactured dairy products increased during September to accomodate the increasing milk supply. Creameries and other processing plants churned 25. percent more butter and made 22 percent more American cheese than a year ago. of cottage September production cheese was up 10 percent. Norman Dye, are all working together, to improve services- and to prepare for possible expansion. -- The Duchesne Uounty Community Ski Program will begin Dec. 28, according to Saturday, program organiser Larry Abplanalp. The program is open to all skim and prospective skiers in the area, with buses departing from the Uintah Basin Area Vocational Center on six School alternate Saturdays this year. According to Gary Wicks, BLM Utah state director, the new procedures, which became effective Oct. 15, provide for applications to be filed at the BLM State office or appropriate district or area offices. Prior to this applications had change, right-of-wa-y to be filed with the state office. Wicks stated that the new procedures will also speed up the processing of applications and reduce paper work by both RLM and the applicant.'
