| Show republican candidate for district judge A robertson who is a candidate for nomination of judge of the fifth ju dacial district was born in 1866 at north argyle new york of scotch dutch and irish ancestry in hie infancy hig par engg moved to fort wayne indiana where he was raised at the age of 19 after graduating from the high school he stud ed law two years in the office of hie father col iv S robertson former lt governor of indiana and member of the utah commission Commis eion under the ham eon administration after being admit ted to the practice of the law he took the benior year course at the indiana university and was graduated with hon ora he then to utah and for seven years was connected with the law firm of bennett marshall and bradley ae a trial lawyer winning many victories during this time he became interested in ground in gintic tintic and spent a little fotune fo tune in its developement elopement dev along with his associates he came to bureda in 1896 to live he was born and bred a republican and like a good many others took the bryan switch in 1896 and like others had sense admit he had made a mistake and came back home again he has been twice city attorney of this town and has done his work well aiom his record it is ap parent that if nominated nomi noted and elected there will be no complaints abent his decisions or instructions as he is gener ally recognized recognised as a lawyer of the first class and a man of probity |
