salt lake sleeping girl Is dead bessie barbara knecht the sleeping girl whose case has attracted so much attention locally and through out the country died at her home in salt lake city sunday last febra ary miss knecht was brought to st mark marks s hospital in an unconscious or sleeping condition she remained in that state for forty seven days the doctors finally decided the disease was the result of an attack of scarlet fever and pronounced the case incur able miss knecht was removed from the hospital to her home in may and although she recovered consciousness has never wholly rallied
