Tarts colleges to visit Union Nov. 20 Advantages and opportunities offered by Utah Technical College at Provo will be explained to interested seniors of Union High School on Tuesday, November 20, according to Wilson W. Sorensen, president of Utah Tech. On that date, Roger Iloneyman, Utah Tech industrial coordinator, will be available to outline programs offered by the college and to give individual counseling if such is desired. Seniors may learn from Mr. Iloneyman the opportunities of vocational-technica- l education and how they can avail themselves of it. Vocational counseling will be available as part of the presentation, along with discussions of job opportunities, rates of pay, and working conditions in jobs for which students may be trained at Utah Tech. The presentation is made with the view of giving the high school senior ample time to consider its possibilities, prior to obtaining his or her high school diploma by the end of the senior year just beginning. The Utah Tech presentation will be part of a College Day" at the high school in which representatives of 13 colleges and universities in Utah will take part. It will be a post-higschool orientation program for the seniors, giving them the opportunity to learn what is available for them at the state's institutions of higher learning. In addition to Utah Tech at Provo, representatives from other institutions will be at the high school as follows: Brigham Young University, University of Utah, Weber State University, Snow College, Dixie College, Southern Utah Stale College, Westminster, LDS Business College, Stevens Ilenegcr Business College, and Utah Technical College at Salt Lake. h PHONE 722-241- PHONE your Clothing and Sporting Needs 722-221- Rt. 2, Wrecker Service For all 1 las 722-941- 4 22 Grace's MURRAY STEWARTS Wards Dress Shop MOTOR Country Comer Nelson Catalog Agency K'S Men's Store and Investment Ladm Appnl - voiding Gown.
