ROOSEVELT MISS Ladies Aid ANNOUNCES Ladies of the Myton Presbyterian Church met at the home of Mrs. Dorothy Walker, Roosevelt, Friday, Nov. 9, for their monthly Ladies Aid social program meeting. Business was conducted by Mrs. Ruby Higley, vice president, with members discussing quilting and plans for the annual decorating day and candlelight service before Christmas. Mrs. Edith Gentry, Ioka, gave an informative program on the life of Queen Victoria. Refreshments were served to fourteen ladies. The December meeting will have a musical theme and be at the home of Mrs. Dorothy Anderson and Mrs. Jane Thompson, Ioka on December 14. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kelly, Riverton, Wya, are the parent! of a baby girl born Nov. 1. She weighed 7 pounds and 2 ounces. Mrs. Lyall Pitt is her grandmother. He is serving with the USA in Hauna, Germany, where he has been stationed eighteen months, e Sgt Doug McDonald has been home three weeks visiting. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde McDonald. Doug just returned from Th island where he was stationed at Nakom Phonom Air Force Base for a year, he was with the 56th Civil Eng. Squadron, he left Monday for Nelis Air Force base in Las Vegas, Nev., where he will be stationed for the next year. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde McDonald motored to Salt Lake and back Sunday to take Venice's parents home, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Timothy, Mr. Timothy's brother, Leiand and wife came out pheasant hunting. Leiand had a heart attack and died suddenly, they all live in Murray. o Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones recently traveled to Smilhfield where Mr. Jones presented three gold certificates and a lifetime membership to the American Legionaires.
