Show National program open to and other youth Employment office opens in Duchesne 4-- H For those wishing to make application to attend the National Citizenship short course, to be held at the National 4 II center in Washington, D.C. The trip consists of a 16 or 17 day tour, including one week in Washington, D. C. Costing approximately 1350.00 for food, lodging, transportation, and registration. The new employment office is located in the "Old Hospital Building" between B ami (' on Seventh Street in Duchesne City. The building has been donated for (his use by Duchesne Health Center Ine., and Duehesne City. The office rlerk, Mrs. Viola Taylor, has been employee! by the city through a federal grant. This is a subsidized public employment program providing job training using federal revenue sharing funds currently administered by the Uintah Basin Association of Governments. The new Duehesne empkiymenl office is affiliated with the Utah State Employment Service. The State Employment Service will provide office equipment and supplies. Max Hartman of Allamont, a rural manxwer specialist with the Utah Department of Employment Security, will represent the State Employment Service and provide training for Mrs. the Roosevelt Stake YWMIA volley ball tournament is fifth ward.
