Mr. and Mrs. Royal Horrocks, granddaughter Melody Ann Taylor, Vernal won Miss Congeniality at the UBIC queen contest in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Max Farnsworth, Janice, Kelly, and Phil, Milton, Florida, visited Friday night with Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Bastian and family, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bastian and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jensen and family. Mr. and Mrs. Louis D. Roberts, Orem, were here visiting over July 24 holiday, visiting friends and relatives. The My ton ward choir sang two numbers at Union high Tuesday evening July 24. They were conducted by choir director Clark Roberts and Janet Ross. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Loryn Ross for four days were a brother, Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Hair and family, Hacienda Heights, Calif., and sister Mrs. Karl Eiggren and family also mother FYancis Hair of Salt Lake. All spent four days spending time at the canyon and a family reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Brown and family, Memphis, Tenn., are visiting friends and relatives for a few weeks. They are visiting in Pleasant Valley and Roosevelt area. Connie Ross, Sharlyn and Steven went to Salt Lake last week for a doctor appointment and business. The Larry Ross frmily and Leon Ross family all spent the day at Lagoon. Mrs. Jay Sorensen took her Mutual class to see the Mormon Miracle in Manti last weekend. Nine girls were in attendance as well as one boy. They came back Saturday morning. Wallace Dennis was admitted to the hospital last luesday of an apparent heart attack.
