Karate class being formed in Clearfield CLEARFIELD The Clearfield Recreation Department will offer a session of karate beginning May 21 and ending July 2. Classes will be held on Monday and Wednesday at Arrandas Self Defense and Fitness, 687 South Main in Clearfield. Classes will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $20 for residents and 249 runners participate in DATCs Human Race ; KAYSVILLE The first Human Race, sponsored by the Human Resource Center and the Davis Applied Technology Center and held May 5 in Kaysville, had 249 entrants. The Human Race featured d three runs: a dash for run for children; a half-mil-e youth; and an open 5 kilometer run. Finishing first in the 5K out of 158 runners was Ron Durtschi. In second was Dan starting May 25 and May 26 and the registration fee of $200. which will be taken through May 22. Fall adult Soccer leagues will be offered in August. Swimming lessons planned for youth SUNSET Sunset City Recreation is now taking registration for youth swimming lessons. Children must be at least 8 years old and a $20 registration fee. is due no later than June 1. The bus will pick students up in front of the city building at 8:40 a.m. starting June 8. Lessons will be run every Friday for ten weeks. Lessons will be offered to the beginner through the expert. Registration is also going on for summer tennis lessons. The morning lessons will start June 11. There will be ten one hour lessons taught twice a week. The registration fee of $20 must be paid by June 5. The summer fun is a free activity and will start June 14. The slide will run every Thursday from 12 to 2.
