Show Lakeside Review, Tuesday, May 8, 1990 LakesideSports Viewmont continues march through region Fitness fair brings families together By DEENA JONES Standard Examiner Correspondent SOUTH WEBER The organizer is calling South Weber Elementary School's first Family Fitness Fair held Friday a great success. The event was organized to bring families together in a healthy lifestyle activity, said organizer Jackie Poll. Any child with at least one parent present could participate. he event was set up with 12 stations of different activities. Families were sent to different locations based on the first letter of their last name. Some of the games included were scooter races, crab soccer, wild man dodge ball, shoeboard race, and other assorted other silly games. Recreation Director Gary Schenck also held preliminary races to get the children thinkv ing about the upcoming tug-of-w- Her-she- track meet.
