Owens, Canyon Country, Calif.; seven grandchildren and three SYRACUSE Lula Rachael Warren Cook, 78, of 2051 So. 1000 W., died Friday, April 10, 1987, at Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton of causes incident to age. She was born April 7, 1909, in Clearfield, Utah, a daughter of David Samuel and Stachia Florence Guthrie Warren. She married Raydolph Day Cook March 26, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He ded Aug. 31, 1985. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and one sister. Services were held Saturday, March 25, at 10 a. m. in Myers Mortuary Chapel in Layton, 250 North Fairfield Road, with The Rev. Daryl B. Robarge of the Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Interment in the Clearfield City Cem-eter- Harmon O. Wheat CLEARFIELD Harmon Oden Wheat, 76, of 677 E. 400 S., Clearfield, died Sunday, April 5, 1987, at St. Benedicts Hospital following surgery. He was born March 4, 1911, in Miami, Florida, a son of John Oden and Alma Warren Wheat. He married Florence Colett in Salt Lake City. They were later divorced. He married Hazel M. Christensen July 30, 1952, in Brigham City. He was educated in Ogden City Schools, and attended Woodbury College in Los Angeles, Calif. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and had worked for the grandchild. Also surviving is one sister, Isabelle Shumway, Chicago, III. .. She was preceded in death by one LaRee H. Stoker KAYSVILLE ! LaRee Hill Stoker, 60, of 383 No. Angel St., died Sunday, April 12, 1987 at a Clearfield nursing home of heart failure. She was born March 21, 1927 in Kaysville, a daughter of Josepi Melvin and Cora Pearl Flint Hill. She married Clifford Stoker Nov. 28, 1948. He died Dec. 18, 1968. She had worked at the Naval Supply Depot and for Village Resorts Inc., in Lake Tahoe, Calif., for five years. She had lived in Kaysville and in Lake Tahoe, Calif., for 20 years.She attended Davis County Schools and graduated from Davis High Schooi.She was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving are four brothers and two sisters, Rex Flint Hill, Richard Flint Hill, Joseph Flint Hill and Mrs. Clyde (Ramona) Gailey, all of Kaysville; John Jack Flint Hill, Farmington; Mrs. Wayne (Carol Dean) Page, Layton. Services will be held Thursday at 1 1 a.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery. DDO. He enjoyed fly fishing, hunting, golf, bowling, photography, and was a rock hound. Surviving are his widow of Clearfield, one daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Mae) Aldridge, Clinton; two grandchildren and one Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Omar Wheat, Howard L. Cremation under the direction of Myers Mortuary of Roy. ROY Gaylord LeGrant Sherman, 67, of 5339 S. 2000 W., died Friday, March 20, at the McKay-De- e Hospital of complications following surgery. He was born Jan. 5, 1920, in Ger- Drive, died Wednesday, March 25, 1987, in the Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton of causes incident to age. She was born March 15, 1908, in Tuttle, Okla., a daughter of James Mason and Cleora A. Casto Jennings. She married Morris Rubin Owens on July 10, 1938, in Tacoma, Wash. He died in 1943. She was a Christian and attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Layton. She had worked as a school administrator In the Los Angeles City Schools. She lived in Roseda, Calif., from 1951 to 1974 and had worked at Northridge Junior High School where she later retired. . Surviving are two sons, Warner R. ing. . - Earl R. Howard Earl Raymond Howard, 82, of 270 No. 300 W., died Friday, April 10, 1987, at the Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton of emphysema. He was bom Jan. 21, 1905, in Oklahoma City, Okla., a son of Levi Lawson and Annie Elizabeth Flanagan Howard. He married Eva Mildred Tipton April 4, 1925, in Council Bluff, Iowa. He had been an auto mechanic.He had lived and also farmed in Oklahoma, Nebraska and Iowa. He was baptized a member of the LDS Church in 1986. He was a great humanitarian and was very inventive and mechanical. He was a veteran, serving with the U.S. Army. Surviving are his widow of Kaysville; two sons and one daughter, Larry Howard, Clearfield; RanDee Howard, Ogden; Mrs. Reed (Leola) VanWagon-e- r, West Valley City; 19 grandchildren and eight Also surviving are one brother and three sisters, Ivan Howard, Oklahoma; Faye Harris, Sioux City, Iowa; Pearl Owens, Sloan, Iowa; Mildred Broder-soMerrill, Iowa. He was preceded in death by one son. Services were held Tuesday at Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main with Bishop Glen Taylor of the Kaysville 19th Ward officiating. He joined the U.S. Navy on June 9, 1939, serving duty in Hawaii during World War II. He was honorably discharged from the Navy on September 21, 1945. After being discharged, he worked at Hickham Air Force Base in Hawaii and at Tachikawa Air Force Base in Japan as an aircraft inspector section chief for 12 years. He moved to Roy in November of 1960 and worked as a quality control specialist at Hill Air Force Base until his retirement in 1976. - He retired from civil service after 35 years.
