One of the major focuses, says Jeanne, was on relearning to breathe. Today, Jeanne exercises with arm weights at her home, takes e walks each day and has learned to relax and not overburden myself. She also has changed her diet, avoiding salty foods, ham, bacon, cabbage, and spicy items. I didnt want to be a burden to my husband or children and I didnt want to live the rest of my life strapped to an oxygen tank either, she says. This program has been a great investment. Its added years to my life. Jeanne and her husband Edward moved to Kaysville from Calfornia two years ago. Farmers get options for repaying loans For the first time, the U. S. Agriculture Department has a single rule written down to explain precisely the choices farmers have when they fall behind in making loan payments to the Farmers Home Administration. The formal regulation was recently announced, a year after it was first proposed in response to court orders aimed at restricting FmHA action until borrowers were notified of all aspects of their situations. Weve been doing some of it, 'in different forms, for some time, department spokesman Marlyn Aycock said. This is the first time weve put in one single regulation to tell the borrower in advance what choices are avail- IMS WW1 two-mil- YOU SAVE . 6S' PRICE SUPERMARKET 4 95' SUPERMARKET C " trA POTATO CHIPS DIP, REGULAR, OR SOUR CREAM tices showing their delinquent loans as of Dec. 31. The notice will advise them of the choices available, such as loan rescheduling or deferral of payments. Borrowers then will have 30 days to notify FmHA of which action they would like to pursue. The basic choices available to a delinquent borrower are: Deferral of a portion of the payments for five years. Rescheduling the loan at regular rates and terms. l.l.Q. HB.
