Show Lakeside Review, Wednesday, April 15, 1987 Officers named Reflections winners listed iBi: KAYSVILLE Local and regional Reflections contest in the county and at Davis High and Kaysville Junior High have been announced. Region III PTA has announced the Reflections winners in the region. The winners are; Visual Arts: Baylor Stevens, by FFAs Clearfield, Davis install presidents Knowlton Elementary; Scott New officers have been named by the Davis High and Clearfield . I 1 High chapters of Future Farmers of America. Paul Potter is the new president of the Davis High FFA. They are Shawn Morganstem, Kara Crofts, Sharilyn Grant and L. William Broadhead. Kara Crofts and Shawn Morganstem have been selected as Teens of the Month by the Layton Chamber of Commerce. Kara is the daughter of Gary and Wilma Crofts of Layton. She is a junior at Layton High. In Junior high she was the student body president, society president, and a recipient of the Noal Z. Tanner award. "She has served on the sophomore and junior class committees at LHS and has been a member of the track team, a participant for two years in the state math contest, an honor roll student, and a photographer for the schools year- FHA Peer Education Leader. Sharilyn is ranked fourth in her class of 538 and has a gpa of 3.99. She works 15 to 30 hours a week and spends 10 to 20 hours a week activities while in carrying a full academic load. Sharilyn is a member of the Clearfield Dance Company, Madrigal Choir, Clearfield High Madres. She' is the daughter of Howard and Karen Grant extra-curricul- ar Clearfield Kiwanis have chosen L. William Broadhead as Outstanding Student at Clearfield High for the month of March. Will is a high honor roll student the Foreign Language Sterling Scholar, on the Academic Olympiad Team, National Honor Society and Clearfield Academic Letter recipient. He is the student body president and an active member of Building Esteem In Student and Teens Scott Major.
