Stephen Steve Peterson of Ogden, was presented the AFLC Distinguished Civilian Service Award for his work in physical rehabilitation. He helps design adaptive ski equipment, provides skiing instruction to those with disabilities and is an active member of several committees created to help those with handicaps. I decided I didnt want to give up skiing or ski without her, so I began thinking about what I could do to help her. The result was finding equipment and instruction for Mrs. Peterson and the inspiration to form the Utah Handicapped Skicorit ers Association, a poration since 1973. y.
