tax district would include about 250 households in a subdivision near 4700 South and 5300 West Initial estimates from the city set the cost to property owners at $36 to $60 per year Utah Power & Light would own Zand maintain the lights UP&L would “bill West Valiev City and the city would bill the residents every year The estimated cost includes an additional 15 percent charge from the city Jojray people had changed their minds The council continued the public hearing to its next meeting on March 19 Some of the residents wanted the City Council to investigate having private contractors install the lights which would reduce the annual charge from UP&L One comer of the subdivision formed its own tax district last year Those residents reported receiving an annual bill from the city of $33 02 In other action the City Council denied a petition to rezone a property lot at 3700 South and 2200 West to allow apartment buildings on the land The council said the area already has many apartment
