Tuft, a student of the E. S. A. from Lawrence, is reported to have pneumonia this morning. He was taken very ill during the night and Dr. Coleman Cole-man was called in about 8 o'clock. Geo. Brandon and family, who were in Mount Pleasant last week to attend the funeral of the late John W. Nicholson Nichol-son have been at Fairview since Sunday with the infant child seriously ill with pneumonia. They stopped off at that city to spend a day or two with relatives on the way home and the child was taken ill after their arrival there.
