Show LAND CF GREEN RIVER PROJECT WITHDRAWN The state board of land commissioners commission-ers his received a notice from the department de-partment of the interior at Washington, approving the application, recently made the board, for a withdrawal of more than I -Q.OuO acres of lands in Emery and Grand counties, under the Carey act. Secretary Lynch said yesterday that the state made application for a temporary tem-porary withdrawal onlv, for the purpose of precluding entries on the land until it has been properly surveyed. The land in question is known as the Green River project, and is to be segregated an I sol I in the near future in connection with an irrigation project simil ir to tnat in Piute county. The principal object; of the survey will bj to locate irrigable lands and mark off canal lines.
