Show Monday is Labor Day. The Castledale district school begins on Monday, September 12th. Plenty of giant and black powder at Nixon's. He carries everything. Oscar Beebe and J. S. Moffitt were Emery visitors Saturday and Sunday. They report the town as bubbling over with oil. Orange Seely was very ill Tuesday, suffering with indigestion and kindred troubles. He is reported as being better bet-ter now. Mrs. Reisly, who has been visiting with her sister, Mrs. F. Tinges for a short time, returned to her home in Salt Lake City, Thursday. C. E. Larsen returned from Ferron Friday, where he has been for several days on business connected with his firm. Marinus Lund of Spring City has been visiting with his brother fhis week. He enjoysthe distinction of having built the first house on the Muddy at Emery. Mrs. Casper Christensen, returning ; from a visit to Provoand Price, was in I town Wednesday afternoon - and called j on many old friends. ! Dibble, of Boise, Idaho, was in town a couple of days this week inspecting inspect-ing the insurance agency J. S. Moffitt is conducting for the St. Paul company.
