Volunteer labor and donated materials helped build up the clubs land, and the clubhouse was completed in S-- 2, 1935. The club also owned a fish hatchery at 1300 East and 4800 South and another on Vine Street in Murray, before moving into its present location. Among Highlights Among the highlights of the clubs activities have been many conservation-relate- d projects. Members have helped with rehabilitating rangelands, fighting botulism among waterfowl, winter feeding of upland game birds during a heavy snowfall and supportconcept on ing the multi-us- e public lands. They have also cooperated with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources in transplanting elk from Wyoming to Utah, planting catfish in Utah Lake, and supporting the hunter safety program. Perhaps the most obvious efforts of the Salt Lake County Fish and Game Association have been related to family outings been held at the Geneva and Saratoga Resorts on Utah Lake, at Lagoon, Como Springs, Fairmont Park and, more recently, at Murray Park.
