Show I ( you ipot VS M ? ft the )The delightful pictures on these pages ' are the result of an experiment conducted by dog trainers Mr. and Mrs. Harland Meistrell of Creat Neck, N. Y. They had heard that dogs obeyed commands better when surrounded by other dogs of and wondered if it might not be the same breed easier to handle them in an environment that simulated their own markings. 'S So, armed with a spray gun, the Meistrells painted black dots all over a white fence in their back yard. Then they brought out their Dalmatians (see one of them in action, left) and showed them the fence. The result? The dogs sniffed at the fresh paint, but other than that there vas no reaction. But the experiment was not wasted. Photographer Warren EL Siegmond heard about the fence and decided it was a great opportunity to make photographs of camouflaged Dalmatians. Now, the game is JOHN I.
