Swedish red stove at left adds unique touch. SpACIOUS, lovely, tastefully decorated and designed for family living are words that barely describe the attractive home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Cranmer, 1810 Countryside Dr. When time came to plan their new home they decided they wanted something beautiful, but also geared for raising four active children. They Durable (Editors Note The Robert L. Cranmer home, designed by architect M E. Harris Jr , was one of six homes on display recently (or the Home Tonr sponsored by the Womens Architectural League of Salt Lake.) by Georgia Holmes wanted a home they all could live in, so with the help of architect M. E. Harris Jr. plans were made in that direction. The wide entry hall was built with large square stones on the floor, indestructible where dogs and children are concerned, yet beautiful where mother is concerned. To the t right is the beautiful living room with its muted tones of off white and beiges and beautiful pro- vincial furnishings, and to the left is the formal dining room with the same practical stone flooring. Straight ahead is the favorite room of all the family, the large family living ai ea with its I oak paneled walls, large windows overlooking the beautiful garden, circular white leather couch, built-ibookshelves, and intriguing Swedish red stove fireplace. To the right on down the hall we pass through a small sitting room ovei looking more of the lovely garden and the safe stone flooring was used here along with a fireplace backing the living room fireplace. Bedroom wing next features four bedrooms, baths and a small utility room. THE MASTER BEDROOM has its own bath and dressing area while each daughter, Cathy, 15, and Claire, 16, has her own charming bedroom in a sense. Each has his own bed and desk area open to the other but when privacy is desired they can close off each area into a separate room by two folding doois Drawers are built in the wall for each boy Next to the dining room is a small pantry before entering the efficient kitthen and bleak-fas- t area, and the home is so landscaped that there is a lovely garden view from ear h room.
