Hong Kong Is Locale Of Adventure Series MERE mention of the 'British Crown Colony of Hong Kong immediately conjures up an image of romance, intrigue and suspense framed ex-in the confines of the most citing city in the Orient. To dramatize the tempo of life in this turbulent city, the new weekly, full hour television series, Hong Kong, was conceived, and it will premiere Wednesday, at 6:30 p.m. on Channel 1. The adventure series will star Rod Talor as Glenn Evans, an American newsman stationed in Hong Kong. His assignments expose him to a wide variety of underworld machinations. But his orders never vary: get the news; get it fast; get the facts behind the news. Canadian-bor- n actor Lloyd Bochner will be seen as Chief the Inspector Neil Campbell of Hong Kong police. Jack Krus-chewill have the colorful role of Tully, an American who operates the swankiest bar and grill in Hong Kong. To assure television viewers of authentic drama, camera crews and writers were flown to the British Crown Colony for actual "location filming. Rod Taylor accompanied them to shoot background material and conduct research of his own to better familiarize him- A self with the type of character he will portray.
