The Tiesiding Elder of the branch was James Chadwick. The Whitney Branch was organized into a Bishop's Watd on June 9th, 1889, with Jamei Chadwick as Bishop. He vvas succeeded in 1893 by George T. Benson, who presided until 19i5; he in turn was succeeded by Joseph Dunkley in 1920 and Bishop Dunkley by Alvin Hull in 1922. In 1930 the Whitney ward had a population of 291.
