This area was settled by those early pioneers who inherited the tradition of their forefathers. Chief among these is the tradition that asserts: "No community may hope to exist, much less grow strong and exert influence outside its own boundaries, unless its. people believe in and worship God." From the date of Cache Valley's beginning, the churches have a powerful influence on the social, cultural and economic life of the valley. exerted ....Essentially the lifeblood of a community flows through its spiritual structure.
