Show PUBLIC SCHOOL NOTES All the departments are progressing very nicely. The punils are taking hold of the work with a vim that is not always al-ways present in our public schools. The teachers are doing all in their power to make the work both interesting and instructive. in-structive. The sixth grade have some very interesting in-teresting language work that of writing descriptions of persons and places. Some or the work is very complimentary Also in history they are enjoying the story of American Leaders and Heroes. They have just finished the story of Miles Standish and the Pilgrims which was very interesting. The seventh grade is divided upon the point of which is the more destructive, fire or water and the only way they can settle it is by debating the question this Friday afternoon. ' ' |
