Show EMERY STAKE ACADEMY TEACHER IN SALT LAKE Our old friend J. T. Handof the Em j ery Stake Academy faculty has located in Salt Lake since his return from a year of study in Berlin. The Deseret News announces his coming as follows: "Mr. J. T. Hand, a Utah singer who has been studying in Berlin for some time, and who is well remembered from having sung the title role of "The Beggar Beg-gar Student" with the B. Y. U. Opera company some time ago, has returned from Berlin and has decided to open a studio in this city. Basides being a tenor singer Mr. Hand has studied piano under Jonas, Prof. McClellan's teacher. He also studied under Prof. Lund and graduated from the B. Y. U. school of music in Provo. His Berlin teacher was George Ferguson, who gives him some excellent recommendations. Mr. Hand's studio will be at 45 east South Temple street. ' ' |
