One, for Letters Continued from Page 4 Lessons learned To whom it may concern: After watching the 6th grade girls basketball game on Wednesday night, February 26, I found myself wondering why? It became a night of wondering why our children cant just enjoy the sport without the adults causing such a problem. I felt that the referees were for one h side and one side is never right. (Fair is fair), losing wasnt the problem for the children, it was the unjust way they were treated and taught. Really what did they learn on Wednesday night? That adults know how to cheat-tauand watch children get hurt without stopping it. (That is what I saw)! I try so hard to teach my children to respect adults, but how could I tell them to respect such adults after the way they were treated. In the world today it is so very hard to keep things in perspective for our children. We should show them the way to achieve pride and not be degraded. the way they were. Iam very disappointed to see this in our community. Our children were told they were at fault-the- y werent. I am very proud of our children-hothey held their heads up, how hard they worked and how bright they are. I was born in Kanab and I live in Fredonia, but I love both communities. So lets work together, not against each other. A very concerned only-whic- nt w Fredonia parent Vistas trouble Dear Editor ex- ample, was from Lava Point in Zion National Park. The first one is to Chiropractor LoRal Linton, with congratulations on his 21st year in practice. One of my concerns when I first moved to Kanab was whether I would find a chiropractor as good as the ones I had experienced elsewhere. Dr. Linton has exceeded my expectations. I have found his gentle methods of spinal adjustment to be the least traumatic and most effective, and his diagnostic skills and friendly bedside manner superior. I definitely recommend him to those who have yet to try chiropractic medicine. The second business that I would like to commend is our local Internet access server, Xpressweb. Craig and Kresta Baird, operating out of Kanab Furniture store, are doing a wonderful and very professional job of providingthis service to Kanab. I have found them to be very courteous, accessible, communicative, and helpful. They design and implement web sites at very reasonable rates, and even provide classes to help those who are a bit lfyouwantto connect to the Internet or set up a Web Site for your business, I highly recommend their personal and friendly service. to with the President. By no means would Governor Matheson have condoned the national tragedy that President Clinton just perpetrated on Utah and the nation by locking up more energy than lies beneath the sands of Saudi Arabia just for the sake of the radical environmental vote.
