Show DECISION Local BLM managers will then select the alternative to be followed in future decision making. A summary of the major elements the selected alternative will be published and made available for public review after the final EIS is published. In addition, a Range Program Summary will be prepared and made available to the public. This document will detail range management decisions resulting from the EISRMP process. of IMPLEMENTATION The final step in the process is implementing the plan by completing the actions identified. Periodically, the progress in completing the plan and make minor changes to assure that the plan is up to date. monitor BLM will its WHERE WE GO FROM HERE Comments will be accepted on the Draft EIS until August 1984. Between that date and September when the Final EIS will be printed, the BLM will analyze comments received, prepare responses to be included in the Final EIS, and make necessary changes to the text or to data within the Draft. HOW TO GET INVOLVED You, the public, can get involved by reviewing the draft EIS, the insert and by attending the open houses listed below. If you would like a copy of the draft EIS or are unable to attend an open house, please take a few minutes to write down your concerns and send them to: Jay 444 South Main, Cedar Carlson, Team Member, Bureau of Land Management, Suite C-If City, Utah 84720. you have any questions about the planning process, feel free to give us a call or drop by our office. 3, OPEN HOUSES WILL BE HELD JUNE 26, 27, and 28,1984 You have an opportunity to participate in making final planning decisions by attending one of the three open houses listed below. During the open houses BLM planning team members will be available to answer questions, review procedures and findings, and discuss alternatives. You will also have a chance to formally record your comments in the public record for this planning effort. Open houses have been scheduled in each of the major areas covered by the plan. On June 26th, the open house will be in Panguitch at the Garfield County Courthouse from 1 to 7 p.m. The June 27th open house will be in Beaver at the Beaver County Courthouse from 1 to 7 p.m., and on June 28th the open'house will be in Cedar City at the BLM District Office, 1579 North Main from 1 to 7 p.m. CEDAR CITY DISTODC BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT |
