Show anti's Llormon iraolo Rehearsals are rehearsal in pagoant now In full swing for the annual Mormon Miracle Pageant, which will open on Temple Hill in Manti on July 12. Performances will follow on July 13, 14, and 17 through 21. Over 121,000 attended the Pageant last year. The event, now In its 18th year, annually attracts people from every state intheUnitedStates and many foreign countries. Admission is free and as many as 30,000 have attended on one night. The cast numbers over 350, all of whom volunteer their services, as do all committee members and staff. No one is paid. The Pageant, which portrays the coming forth of the Book of Mormon and the subsequent trek of the to the west, is staged Saints outdoors at the foot of the majestic Mormon Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of LatterDay Saints. Flashbacks depict many of the events which are recorded in the book, which documents the history of the earliest inhabitants of the American continent. Seating will accommodate 10,000, with room for that many more on the spacious lawns. Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah and was commissioned by his father as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. Bill received the academic award for the most outstanding senior Air Force cadet and the Reserve Officers Avrd for the cadet displaying the best Air Force leadership qualities and ths highest academic standards in his chosen field of study. Activity will start at the fair grounds onSaturday,August4clean-in- g and getting things setup. Monday all articles except flowers, produce and farm crops must be entered and will be judged on Tuesday. Wednesday, fair workers will set up displays and the Fair will officially kick off with the queen contest under the direction of Tamara Payne. Tammy Wood, Kim Gurr, Gloria McDermott and Gaye Schow will help coordinate the queen contest. All girls who will be 18 to 26 are eligible to enter this prestlgous event. The winner will reign over Beaver County for a year and be entered in the Utah State Fair Queen Contest. Eligible girls should contact any one of the ladles mentioned above for details. The fair will open at 9:00 a.m. August 9th with the Grand Marshall and queen cutting the ribbon. Produce, crops and flowers may be entered that morning until noon. She was born Feb. 24, 1928, in Franklin, Idaho, a daughter of Jonathan and Rachel Neilson Neeley. On Nov. 16, 1947 she married Charles F. Holm in Las Vegas, Nev. She was a member of the Milford 2nd LDS ward where she had served In various rapacities, and was known for her quilting. She had been active in the local soft-ba- ll program. Her grandchildren had been very important in her life. She also umpired tiehind the plate in Little League Baseball. She Is survived by her husband, of Milford, 2 daughters and 4 sons.
