Show I I Lee Whitlock of Baker, Terry of Ely, Tom, Glen and Carl Dearden and Ladd Davies of Garrison each did their best and that is mighty darn good. They are all getting ready for the summer and the many different places to go to show their stuff. The Dave Eldridge family were in Elko, Nevada this past weekend for the rodeo. They travel also during the summer to attend these functions and their two girls join In on many of the events. Joe Eldridge is doing better. He really had a time this past month, but we are glad he is on the road to recovery. Everyone goes by In their gas guzzlers, but Wayne Gonder goes by on his hay burner, while son Owen went down Into the Lwer field on his sons, Guys, dirt bike. When he rode back to the house, he had to ask how to shut the thing off. Whoa just didnt work. The Utah Lions had a convention in St. George on June 7th, so Fred, Lady and I went down to It renew friendship with them. was a nice time and the weather was cool. That was even better. Gen Richardson spent this past weekend with her sister-in-la- w Thelma Heckethorn, In Ely. She sure missed a good heavy rain, but the ground will hold the water to show how hard It did rain. Now we do not have to water so much. The Stapleys from Arizona have returned to Snake Valley for the summer. They stay up tn Snake creek and enjoy. That Is the way to live. Ted and Mary Tanner, folks of Ken Tanner and Pat Gonder, are here for some fishing on Lehman Creek, Baker Creek and any other flowing water they can find. Wheeler Chester and Lorene travel to Provo area for their son Darwin. He makes out the shopping list and his folks go fill It. Then Jeannie puts it on the shelves of the store. Everyone gets into the act and the smaller boys take it off the shelves and put It on the floor. Mom puts It back. Sunday was a beautiful day. The weather was warm and clear and there was a photo exhibit dedicated in the memory of Lon Sherman from Baker, in the showroom at Lehman Cave. The Superintendent of the Caves, A1 Hendricks gave the opening remarks, with Ed Woods giving Ing personal remarks of Lon and then James Dalton of the Lehman Caves Natural History Association When giving other remembrances. visiting the Caves this summer, please stop by and see these photos, they are really out standing and some very unusual pictures. There were refreshments served after and they were so good. Gerda Sherman sure had a wonderful day. What with this fine tribute to her late husband and her family being with her. There was son Doc and wife Mickle, son Marty and wife Pat, along with grandchildren Sllke and Vickie and family, Les and Sherrie and family, Marta Sherman andfriendCraigPo-wel- l, Barbara SueandKurtSherman and Randy Wilson, son of Gil.
