He was born May 12, in 1897 Burlington, Wyo., to Burton Ja-- J ckson and LJ Florence Wiggett Prettyman. He married Martha Alice Dieter Sept. 4, 1917 in Vernal. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on Sept. 21, 1950. She survives. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. In addition to his wife, survivors include sons and daughters, Rachel Edwards, Price; Jay, Portland, Ore.; Gordon, Salt Lake City; Mrs. June (Dolly) Edwards, Price; Ray, Price; Deraid, Spring Glen; Ronald, Elmo; and Mrs. Earl (Glenda) Hansen, Spring Glen. Other survivors grandchildren; include 74 41 greatg- one randchildren; one brother, Leonard; and three sisters, Sarah Walters, Florence Forbis and Nellie Smith. One daughter, Helen, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, in the Price Third Ward LDS Chapel. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Fausett Mortuary and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Price City Cemetery. Lois 0. Mar Olsen, Houston, Texas; two stepchildren, Mrs. Lucille Erickson, I.A Price, and Gay Anderson, Ixiuisiana; and many nephews and nieces. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Price Utah Stake Center. Burial was in Price City Cemetery. Fausett Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. Anderson Lois 0. Anderson, Price, died on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 1982. She was born Dec. 16, 1917 in Price to Peter Barton and Ruby Larsen Olsen. She married Jackson O. Jewkes April 1, 1939. They later divorced. She married IVon J. Anderson on June 24, 1945 in the Manti IDS Temple. He survives. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-da- y Saints, she was a member of the Price First Ward. She had served in the Mutual, Sunday School and Primary organizations for many years. She loved to paint and do ceramics at both the Senior Citizens Center and the Cottage. She was always concerned about helping other people. In addition to her husband, survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ron (Pat) Roper, Price; grandchildren, Mrs. Gayleen (Debbie) Christensen, Salt Lake City, and David, Rona and Scotty, all of Price; Amber Cherie Christensen, Salt Lake City; mother, Ruby Olsen, Price; two sisters, Mrs. Lynn (Vione) Pilling and Mrs. Ralph (Norma) Higgen-bothaboth of Price; one brother, Goldie L. Bay - WELLINGTON Goldie L. Bay, 75, Wellington, died Dec. 29, 1982. She was born March 18, 1907 in Kingfisher, Okla., the daughter of Henry Fred and Daisy Flewelling Tro. She married Raymond Bay in 1928. He preceded her in death. She was a school teacher and a member of the Christian Science Church. Survivors include two daughters, Daisy Slavensky, Helper, and Nellie Barker, Wellington; five grandchildren, Chad and Gary Barker, Karon Andreini, Raymond Franco and Judy Ford; three greatgrandchildren, Jeremy Andreini, and Nick and Chris Barker; and one Cathrine sister, Junction, Colo. Peter H. and Emily Iiainaster Riley. She graduated from St. Marys of the Wasatch School in Salt the Howland City. She Motor Ixidge in Green River and was a member of the Green River Womens Club where she had served as district president and as president at three separate times. She married H. J. Howland Dec. 26, 1922 in Chula Vista, Calif. He died to Viola M. Ori Viola M. Ori, 70, Helper, died Dec. 30. 1982 in Castleview Hospital. She was born March 11, 1912 in Redwing, Colo., to Emmitt and Sophia Martinez King. She married James Guido Ori on Nov. 1, 1943 in Raton, N.M. He died June 6,1973. A teacher in Colorado and Helper, she was a member of the Catholic Church, Helper Womens American Legion Auxiliary, Altar Society, and Soroptimist Club, Eighty-Fou- r Sorrella D America. Survivors include two sisters, Martha Spock, Walsenburg, Colo., and Nancy Giordano, Pogasa Springs, Colo.; one brother, Emmett King, Walsenburg, Colo.; several nieces and newphews and a community of friends. Mass of the Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. Monday at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Price. Holy rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at Mitchell Funeral Home. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery in Helper. in 1964. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Maxine) Baker, Green River, and one grandson, Jody Baker. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Community Bible Church in Green River. Burial was in Elgin Cemetery under the Mordirection of Callahan-Edfatuary of Grand Junction, Colo. ju f? 1918 Jeremy Perkins LAKE CITY Jeremy Edward Perkins, 11, Spanish Fork, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1982 at Primary Childrens Medical Center here. He was born Aug. 21, 1971 in Provo to Joseph Edward and Diana Killpack Perkins, Spanish Fork. He was in the sixth grade at Spanish Fork Middle School. Besides his parents, survivors include three brothers and two sisters, Daniel, Luke, Jesse, Susan and Daisy, all of Spanish Fork; grandparents, Mrs. H. Max Perkins, Springville, and Dr. and Mrs. James L. Killpack, Apple Valley, Calif.; Mrs. Ruth and Perkins Williams, East Carbon. Services were held Dec. 27 at the Spanish Fork 18th Ward LDS Chapel. Marion Kojonis; three brothers, Andrew Konakis, Lynn Konakis and Stanley Konakis; two sons, Greg and Kenny; three daughters, Amelia Konakis, Nancy Baker and Connie Harvey; and 12 grandchildren.
