Randolph was presented with two checks totalling $1,200 by Roger C. Tolman of the First Security Foundation last week. assistant Tolman, vice president and manager of the Price Office of First Security Bank, said this years contribution to CEU includes $1,000 in scholarships and $200 in library grants. The Board of Trustees of the FSF recommend the $1,000 award be used to provide two $500 scholarships to CEU students majoring in banking andor finance, he added. Tolman said the board also recommended the $200 library grant be used to purchase financeeconomics related services and periodicals. The materials should be selected by the faculty of the books, business school. The CEU library will inscribe the books purchased through the FSF grant with a notation of where they were obtained, Randolph said. According to Tolman, FSF distributed $36,900 in scholarships and grants to colleges and universities in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming this year. Since its founding in 1952, First Security Foundation has awarded more than $600,000 in scholarships and grants.
