According to Carol M. Fay, IRS Salt Lake City District Director, nearly 500 refund checks worth $187,293 were returned by the Postal Service as undeliverable in Utah. When a refund is returned by the Postal Service, the IRS attempts to find the taxpayer and deliver the checks, but there are always some who cannot be found. Those who think they may be due refunds and have moved or changed their names during the year should contact the IRS at toll-fre- e. Here is a list of Carbon and Emery county residents who have checks that need tc be picked up: Nina R. Johnson, Jim N. Russell and Lynette Wilson, all of Price, and Nicholas J. and Denice Kranjac, Green River. All new money market checking accounts are not created equal.
