The foyer of the Price Municipal Building features an impressive mural that was painted during the Great Depression by noted artist Lynn Fausett. The 200-fopainting depicts the history of Carbon County from its humble beginnings in 1877 to the countys coal mining present. Fausett used old photographs, tintypes and perot sonal recollections in recreating the characters from Carbon Countys past. Fausett is a local artist who studied his craft in New York, France and Italy. He also painted a large mural located in the College of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum.
