Hunting, manager of the Price office of the Utah Department of Employment Security (Job Service), recently announced that the departments authority to issue Targeted Jobs Tax Credit certificates expired effective Sept. 30. Federal legislation under which the program operates expired on that date. However, legislation to extend this program is currently being considered by Congress. The bottom of all openings shall be no higher than one foot above grade. Openings may be equiped with screens, louvers, valves, or other coverings or devices provided that they permit the automatic entry and exit of floodwaters. 15.36.180 Flood wavs. Located within areas of special flood hazard established in Section 15.36.070 are areas designated as floodways. Since the floodway is an extremely hazardous area due to the velocity of flood waters which carry foldebris, potential projections, and erosion potential, the lowing provisions apply: 1. Prohibit encroachments, including fill, new construction, substantial improvements, and other developmentor unless certification by a registered professional engineer architect is provided demonstrating that encroachments shall not result in any increase in flood levels during the occurrence of the base flood discharge. 2.
