She was preceded in death by one son and one daughter, Jimmy McBroon and LuAnn Hinkins, and seven brothers and sisters. Funeral services were Oct. 5 at the Emery LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Emery City Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary. Car-bonvil- le; y in Price and Wednesday one hour before services at the chapel. Burial will be in the Price City Cemetery. Thomas L Carrillo Jr. CJjLA Rosie Draper Rosie Catherine Bettino Draper, 77, died Oct. 4, 1990 at her home in Wellington. She was bom July 18, 1913 at Castle Gate to Vincent and Regina Pomare Bettino. She married Verdis Draper on July 19, 1933 at Castle Dale. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Saints. She was born Feb. 20, 1897 at Castle Dale to Robert and Lilly Coats Lake. She married Wallace R. Jones on Aug. 13, 1916 at Castle Dale, where they made their home. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She enjoyed doing handicrafts for her family and friends. She is survived by her children, LaMar Jones, Layton; Mrs. Ross (Bernice) Anderson, Castle Dale; Mrs. Ronald (Loraa) Broderick and Eugene (Barbara) Jones, all Bountiful; Bill (Connie) Jones, Ferron; Dick (Anna Lee) Jones, Orangeville; Jack (Corrine) Jones and Paula Jewkes, all Castle Dale; 38 grandchildren; 88 greatgrandchildren; 20 12 k'M n; 13 and one sister, Dortha Christensen, East City." She was bora March 1, 1898 at Payson to Helge G. and Eleanore Jones Johnson. She attended elementary and high school in Spanish Fork. She married Arlin Robb on March 2, 1918; the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He died pet 20, 1962. She was active in the Church of 1990 Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints, functioning in many positions. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the oldest Utah V.IM. member of the American Legion Auxilary. She is survived by five child- -' ren. Max A. She was bora Dec. 25, 1921 at Castle Dale to LaVera H. and Dennie Larsen Akelund. She married Allen James McBroon Sr. on Sept 30, 1942 at Blackfoot, Idaho. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family. She is survived by her husband, Emery, two sons and two daughters, Allan R. McBroon Jr., Evanston, Wyo.; Robert McBroon, Salt Lake City; LaVina Horne, Salina; LaVora Torgersen, Washington, Utah; Thomas Louis Carrillo Jr., 39, died Oct 3, 1990 at the University of Utah Medical Center. He was born May 16, 1951 at East Carbon to Thomas G. and Bertha Duran Carrillo. He was a member of the Catholic Church and a resident of Salt Lake City, Arizona and California. He graduated from the College of Eastern Utah, the Utah Technical College, Westminster College and the University of Utah. He attended Arizona State University, Stanford University and studied abroad in China. He was an instructor of nursing at various colleges and institutions. He enjoyed running, swimming, dancing and reading. He was a collector of books, music and watches. He is survived by his mother, East Carbon; three brothers and one sister, Juan Carrillo, Menlo Park, Calif.; Mrs. Ralph (Gloria) Ruiz and Leonard Carrillo, all Salt Lake City, Mark (Alayne) Carrillo, Price; and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. Funeral Mass was Saturday at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in East Carbon. Burial was in the Price City Cemetery under the direction of Mitchells Mortuary. Contributions to the Tom Carrillo Scholarship Fund may be made at First Interstate Bank in Price. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Buck (Lillian) Broms, Portland, Ore.; two sons, Joseph (Kathy) and William Jr. (Patsy), all Roseburg, Ore.; two sisters and two brothers, Frances Day, Millie Babcock, Albert Vogrinec and Harry Vogrinec, all Price; and four grandchildren. He was bora Nov. 5, 1943 at Galveston, Texas to Robert and Ida Margaret Rouse Catlin. He recently moved to East Carbon City. He is survived by his mother. He was bora Dec. 4, 1909 at Cleveland to Erick R. and Matilda Christensen Erickson. He married Effie Lindsey on Nov. 5, 1934 at Price. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He received his education in Emery County schools and graduated from high school in Huntington. Following his education, he traveled with a company that showed movies from town to town and played in a dance band, play-in- g thet baiyo and guitar. He on a ranch - in ', Albu-- ; T worked querque, N.M. and also, was on the radio while there as a singer. He came back to Carbon County and worked in the coal mines. He lived in Cleveland, Sunnyside and Castle Gate prior to moving to the ProWOrem area following his retirement from the mines. He was employed at Brigham Young University in the snack bar at Desert Towers for several years.
