Kenedy teacher Leila Lew is a coordinator of the National Federation for Parents of Drug Free Youth and is working with Kathy Majors, also a teacher at Kennedy, who is coordinating the program at the school. Various committees and schools are rallying in a statewide effort and commitment to stop drug abuse, she explained. Jim Davis will serve as vice and Melissa Huber as class secretary. Kim Southam, Jody Nelson, Becky Uhlig and Jill Kelsey will be the sophomore senators. It is official; Mr. Wendall Sullivan will replace the retiring Dr. Earl Catmull next year as principal at Taylorsville. Mr. Sullivan is currently principal at Eisenhower junior high.
