Granger grabbed a 7-- 3 over Murray last Wednesday evening, but Murray rebounded to f ick up its first win of the season Monday night, 1 over Midvale. Confusion reigned after Grangers action on Wednesday was halted by lain, but the last word from the league Tuesday morning was that it had been ruled a complete game by the umpires with the score reverting buck to the fifth inning with West Jordan winning Granger lost a 0 decision to Midvale Friday and a Thursday outing at Kearns was suspended by darkness with Granger leading 7 with a man on third in the top of the sixth. Tonight (Wednesday) Granger is slated to meet Cyprus at Southridge while Murray hosts West Jordan at Ken Price in an 8 p.m. contest. Fridays action will pit Murray against Cyprus at Ken Price in a 6 p.m. start and Granger against Kearns at Southridge at 8. On Monday Murray tests Kearns at KHS and Granger is at Bingham. Granger will play Hillcrest Tuesday and next Wednesday as the season begins to wind down Granger will play Hillcrest again as Murray di aws a bye. v ictory West Jordan burst into the lead in the top of the third, scoring three runs, all with two out.
