The musical drama Shenandoah will open (Thursday) Playhouse. at Promised tonight Valley The show will run through April 14 under the direction of James Arrington. Choreography is by Craig Call. Shenandoah is the story of a family shaken by the stress of the Civil War. The family patriarch, Charlie Anderson, is played by Dave Hill. s Olympus high graduate James plays the role of James, the eldest son. His wife Anne is played by Allison Parker. Jennie is played by Stephanie Ross and Sam, her fiance, is portrayed by Ken Eklof. Martin A. Robinson will play Gabriel, a slave and friend to Robert Anderson, acted by Hor-rock- Contest Winners Named PTA Christopher Miller. Brad Stacey and Daniel Law play the other sons. Birth reports from the three hospitals in the Green Sheet area, Cottonwood, St. Marks and Pioneer Valley, indicate that 30 infants were welcomed by area families, according to hospital reports available Monday. Cottonwood reported five births, St. Marks 17 and Pioneer Valley eight. There were 15 girls and an equal number of boys.
