John Festin, son of Dan and Kathy festin, has received the Eagle Scout award He is a member of troop 763 with Ken Carlson as scoutmaster The youths favorite of the 23 merit badges he earn-- e d on was sports. For his service project, the boy built a large scoreboard for the Taylorsville West stake along with numbers to be used with it. He has been a ball-fiel- patrol leader since he was 11 years old and is now assistant senior patrol leader. The lad also holds the On My Honor, Arrow of Light and Faith in God awards. An eighth grade student at Valley junior high, he enjoys soccer His older brother Scott also earned the Eagle award. High Honor Roll Released At Kennedy JHS Is GRANGER.
