Each of the area coaches will welcome back a solid nucleus around which to build next year. For Cyprus, it will be a matter of putting a bad experience behind itself. The Bucs were blown off the court by eventual champion Woods Cross and came back to suffer an even worse fate against Layton Thursday afternoon. The Lancers jumped off to a 23-- lead over the Bucs in the first period and never looked back. Cyprus couldnt find the mark, had no defense and turned the ball over frequently.
