This award is presented to those who have donated outstanding service and leadership to the Scouting program in the district. MRS. PAULSEN has been working with young people in various capacities in the scouting program the past 21 years. She has been a Den Mother and has worked in the Blazer Scout program for the past 11 years. She worked with the boys in their first scouting experiences, teaching them skills and encouraging them to work on merit badges and set goals for future progress awards. To Be Honored The family of Mr. and Mrs. David Rolla Evans will honor them with two special family affairs this coming weekend. One with their sons and daugh- ters and partners getting together for a family dinner, and the other to be held at the n home of Mr. and Mrs. in Fruit Heights for all family members that reside in the area. Thor-stense- MR. AND Mrs. Evans reside at 335 Barbara Ave., Layton. They were married in Spanish Fork, Ut. Feb. 8, 1932. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Dec. 7, 1950. They have resided in Salt Lake City, Idaho, north Ogden, and forthepast21 years in Layton. Mr. Evans was born Feb. 14, 1910, in Mapleton, Ut. She set up workshops on first attended schools in Utah County. Hildred J. Berman Evans was bom in Fairmont, Minn., Sept. 25, 1908. They are the parents of five children, four of whom are still living.
