IS Thursday 6 p.m. News Layton il ; MISS MILLER is the daugh- 6-- 6 Mrs. Shellie Bowman and son, Richie, have returned to their Los Angeles, Calif, home after being in Layton to attend the funeral services for Mrs. Bowmans grandmother, Mrs. Alice E. Adams. Mrs. Bowman is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Whitman of Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Elbum Dickson, Mrs. Melba Layton and Mrs. Ruth H. Adams spent last week in Southern Utah. They stayed in a St. George condominium and visited many in- teresting places including Zions National Park and Santa Clara. Mrs. Ethel Scoffield has returned home after spending an extended vacation with her family members living in California. Mrs. Scoffield spent Christmas in Corona DelMar near NewPort Beach with the David Stainer family. Mrs. Stainer is the former Susan Scoffield. There are six children in the Stainer family. Mrs. Scoffield enjoyed attending school Christmas programs with her grandchildren. The day before Christmas, the Stainers and Mrs. Sboffield went boating at Balboa Beach.
