| Show GOOD REAS FOR BONDING ls As alread announced through the columns ol of this paper an election has been arranged on the question of bonding the county for educational purposes this election will take place on tuesday dec ath judges ol of election have been appointed for all tho the precincts and notices announcing it havo have been posted in many prominent places the improvements for or which the money is to be used ire are named in the notices and are stated elsewhere in the columns of this paper it will be well for the voters of the bounty anty to bote the sew new buildings and tho the additions to existing buildings that are arc proposed and to consider carefully the urgent need there is for them with treso things in mind and understand mg the consistency of the bonding yan van proposed the voters of this county can be depended upon to do their duty on that day the people who recently carried the uke like election tor for an equal amount which to improve their roads reads can bo be depended upon to stand by the schools cut but there are other urgent reasons why this election should be carried and this bonding done now under present arrangements the corporations a athin the county pay over sixty per pa cont c nt of our taxes but this condition fortunate for the individual tax payers may not continue already there la is a committee appointed by the governor or legislature to consider consid r the advisability of enacting laws that will turn the revenues from corporation tax into the treasury to bo be distributed tri buted pro rata to the counties of the state A change of this nature would bo be a 3 calamity to box bos elder county it would take a large resource away from this county ot of which only A a portion would return s by this 6 ahmod I 1 lobuono dobsa build sevi several rl largo large school buildings each year it wo we are going to improve our school hoists and build much needed now new ones the time to do it is now before a change in the tax system of the state has been made it if we bond before the change the state cannot take the corporation tax tar from this county without also assuming the proper iorii tion of our bonded indebtedness understanding this point in its far teaching reaching and important bearing and seeing in addition that bonding will lower rather than basle our tax rate to co voter of the county will tail fall to cast ui ai affirmative vote on the day ot of the bhoj lection s I 1 |
