Matheson Friday issued a challenge to Utah Boy Scout leaders to boost the state's Scout rolls to 100,000 members by next year. A strong backer of the Scouting program. Gov. Matheson met with Scouts and Scout leaders to hear their annual reports on Scouting's 70th Anniversary and Cub Scoutings 50th Anniversary. Scouts fiom five councils reported on membership numbers and activities during the year in a ceremony that has become an annual event with Gov. Matheson.
